Improve Your #Wellbeing with Baby Steps to a Healthier Lifestyle, March Calendar

Since people seemed to enjoy my February wellness calendar, here’s one for March. Thirty-one small things we can do to improve our well-being. Okay, thirty. I took some liberties with March 27th. But hey, reading is good for you too!

Will I make it all the way to the December calendar? I don’t know, maybe. If I do, repetition is inevitable.

Then again, isn’t repetition the path to a healthier lifestyle?

Baby step + baby step + baby step → repeated actions → habit = change

I love your tips Carrie! I love walking and I manage to lift, but doing things other than specifically going to the gym keeps me in check and from being bored. We are a fan of kefir in our house. Pets, veggies and healthy lifestyle choices are all on our calendars. I like how you’ve arranged this because it signals the mind to actually keep it up! Here’s to your good health. 😀

Thanks, Brigitte. I wish I had pets so I could benefit from the petting and stress relief, but husband is too allergic. 🙁

I think one of the best things about your calendars is that it allows a person to actually take that baby step if she does at least one of the things you list, regardless of whether she does it on that day or another. I’m happy that I take several baby steps (definitely where petting my cats comes in since I have three and pet all three a few times a day). I also really like that you include stress-relievers such as petting an animal as well as physical activity. Keep those calendars coming 🙂 Repetition just means a healthy behavior is becoming a healthy habit.

This is such a great assistance for people like me. I need a simple plan I can follow, not a change-your-life-completely order. Bookmarking this one too – thank you so much, Carrie, for making it possible to live a more healthy lifestyle.

Lots of good tips on these calendars. I’ll pass on the cauliflower though – I don’t know why but I just can’t stand the stuff, but oddly enough I just LOVE broccoli!
Congrats on the new book 🙂

      Thank you!

No one else in my family likes cauliflower either. I love it. More for me I guess. Thanks for the RT!

Love these calendars with manageable goals to strive for each day. Something so simple as marching while being on the phone. Imagine if I marched every minute I was typing on the phone. Never thought of that!

OK, I confess, I didn’t get far on the calendar last month. Thank you for giving me another shot at this. These are easy enough to feel doable. Thanks!

I think they are, although I might have pushed for too much with the three sets of push-ups as one commenter pointed out. 😄 Thanks for stopping by!

3 sets of 10 pushups? Thou must be joking. I’ve never done 10 pushups at one time in my life, let alone 3 sets of them! Now if the calendar said do 3 pushups, I’d understand. 😊

Print out every calendar. Follow them day to day…exactly. Well….that’s a lie. I do, however, do my best…’s the inspiration of it all. Some days work better than others….as you well know. Thank you so much, Carrie…your calendars are great!

I always feel like I’m not doing enough to be healthy, but in reading your calendar, I found that I do most of those things. And, not just once a month. I love broccoli and tomatoes. I eat those several times a week. In fact, I’m about to eat them both with dinner when I’m done commenting. Thanks for sharing this. I usually get down on myself for having something outside of my diet, but this made me feel better. 🙂
